SCRIPTPLUS is a state-of-the-art, web-based dispensing system that print labels, generate reports, manages inventory, uses a barcoding systems, prints patient information leaflets, facilitates reimbursements and much more.

SCRIPTPLUS is an approved HIPAA compliant software using our fully secure off-site servers with redundant backup systems to safely store all transaction data. Also, enhanced log-in/password requirements further eliminate any unauthorized access to the SCRIPTPLUS account. Southwood will provide you with a scanner and bottle-label printer that works with the software.

Once the conversion to SCRIPTPLUS is made, your account will be activated within 24 hours. When administrative access to the network or individual PC is properly updated, template downloads and equipment installation takes approximately 15 minutes. Staff training depends on the end user skill level and generally takes 30 minutes to 1 hour of uninterrupted time. Additional time is required to do custom prescription instructions, par levels for inventory control/ordering and a final hard count of all medications on site to go live with a balanced inventory. Average total training time requirement is 3 hours.
